Last night’s national team match was met with great enthusiasm thanks to a special event organized by our university. Our students gathered at Neo Café—one of our campus’s social hubs—to watch the match on the screen set up there, cheering on our national team with Turkish flags in hand.
The high excitement that lasted throughout the match gave way to great joy and applause with the winning goal. On this meaningful evening, where we felt the unifying power of sports and the spirit of solidarity within the academic community, we all shared in the national pride as residents of the campus.
We would like to thank all our students and academic/administrative staff who participated in the event and shared this wonderful atmosphere.
