KGTÜ College Fair and Information Days Have Begun

Konya University of Food and Agriculture (KGTÜ) has begun welcoming prospective students to its campus with the start of the 2026 YKS application period. As part of the Application and Open House Days, prospective students and their families have the opportunity to get an up-close look at the university’s educational philosophy, academic programs, laboratories, social life, and the opportunities it offers.

Throughout the Application and Open House Days, applicants can meet one-on-one with faculty members to receive detailed information about the departments; during campus tours led by student representatives, they can visit classrooms, laboratories, practical training areas, and social life centers to experience the university atmosphere firsthand.

KGTÜ prepares its students for the future through its 100% English-language education model, applied education approach, robust research infrastructure, international exchange programs, scholarship opportunities, and student-centered campus life. The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Health Sciences—the university offers interdisciplinary and practice-oriented education through its strong academic programs and is further expanding its educational scope with the newly opened Vocational School.

The Department of Plant and Animal Production / Digital Agriculture Technologies Program, launched within the Vocational School—which will begin accepting students in the 2026–2027 academic year—aims to train qualified technical personnel in the fields of smart agriculture applications, digital production technologies, and sustainable agriculture; Meanwhile, the Department of Food Processing / Food Quality Control and Analysis Program aims to train qualified mid-level professionals needed by the industry in the fields of food safety, quality management, and laboratory analysis. With its modern laboratory infrastructure, industry partnerships, and hands-on education model, KGTU thoroughly prepares its students—at both the bachelor’s and associate’s degree levels—for the workforce.

Konya Food and Agriculture University Rector Prof. Dr. Erol Turan noted that the college application period is one of the most important stages in shaping students’ futures and invited all prospective students and their families to visit the campus.
