Education Model

The undergraduate education system at Konya Food and Agriculture University is designed from general to specialized and application-oriented. According to their preferences after the university exam, students will be placed in one of the three different faculties within the university. Students who choose Engineering Programs and enroll in our university are enrolled in the English Preparatory Program, which lasts 38 weeks. After gaining English proficiency, all Engineering Program students follow a common program for the first three semesters according to the T-format education system applied at our university. At the beginning of the fourth semester, students who successfully complete the first three semesters choose the program (department) they want to continue from the diploma programs within the Faculty without any quota restriction and transfer. As the first three semesters are common, students who are interested in different disciplines are provided with a broad perspective on different fields by taking common courses. If they are successful in the diploma program, at the beginning of the 5th semester, if they wish, they can start double major education in another diploma program, provided that they meet the conditions. Since the first three semesters are common, the chances of being successful in the double major program are high.
