Computer Engineering is one of the fastest growing and changing disciplines in today's world. Looking back from the past to the present, it is clear that computer technologies have entered every area of life. Both companies and end users use computers intensively.

The developing world is now progressing towards becoming an information society. Computer engineers are undoubtedly one of the most important actors in the processes of data production, storage, processing, and information retrieval.

Our students do not only learn computer programming, computer networks, data structures, software engineering, and database systems in our department; they also learn how to gather, analyze, design, and implement the requirements needed to develop solutions to engineering problems.

As the Computer Engineering Department, we aim to train computer engineers who keep up with technology, can provide solutions to engineering problems, and aim to turn the knowledge they acquire into products.
