Department Orientation for First-Year Psychology Students

Our university’s Department of Psychology organized an orientation event for first-year students starting the 2025–2026 academic year. During the event, information sessions were held to help students adapt to department life and adjust more easily to university life.

The program began with an opening speech by our Department Chair, Prof. Dr. Ramazan Arı. Following this, department faculty members introduced themselves and met with the students for the first time. Comprehensive information was shared regarding key points to consider during the academic process, course content, the academic advising process, and the academic regulations.

Additionally, opportunities to support students’ social and personal development alongside their academic lives were introduced during the event. Participants had the chance to ask faculty members questions about topics they were curious about during the Q&A session.

The Department of Psychology’s orientation event helped students both familiarize themselves with the department’s culture and make a strong start for the coming years.
