Theartificial intelligence-based healthcare initiative MyHealthAsist, developed by KGTÜ students, has received Phase 1 approval under the TÜBİTAK 1812 BİGG program. The team—composed of Management Information Systems students Hatice Dilay Işık and Ahmet Fatih Yılmaz, and Molecular Biology and Genetics student Fatma Tuğçe Erten—has brought food and health safety into the digital domain through an interdisciplinary approach.

During the development process, the mentorship provided by Assist.Prof.Dr. Ayhan Aydoğdu, Head of the MIS Department, and Prof. Dr. Ali Kılıç, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, contributed to transforming academic knowledge into an innovative business model. By utilizing computer vision and a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, MyHealthAsist offers personalized product analysis. With this approval, the initiative has taken its first step toward company formation.
