Food Quality Control and Analysis Program

The Food Quality Control and Analysis Programme, which forms part of the Department of Food Processing at Konya University of Food and Agriculture, is a two-year associate degree programme that will admit its first cohort of students in the 2026–2027 academic year.

Our programme is designed in line with the 3+1 education model to provide our students with a strong academic foundation, practical laboratory skills and industry experience. Under this model, our students will spend three terms receiving theoretical and practical training to develop their professional knowledge and skills; they will then spend one term undertaking a work-based training placement. Thanks to this model, our students will gain work experience whilst developing their theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and will have the opportunity to gain a close insight into the world of work before graduation.

Graduates who successfully complete the programme may be eligible for employment as qualified technical staff in production, quality control and laboratory departments within food production facilities, quality control and analysis laboratories, and organisations operating in the food sector. Through its practice-oriented educational approach and collaborations with the industry, our programme aims to develop students’ professional knowledge, skills and competencies, enabling them to make a more well-prepared start to their working lives and contributing to their career development.

Furthermore, graduates of the programme have the opportunity to transfer to suitable bachelor’s degree programmes via the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) and complete their education with a four-year bachelor’s degree.
