QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM POLICY

In line with the vision, mission and core values determined within the scope of the university's general quality policy and strategic plan, the quality assurance mechanisms established in accordance with international standards by taking into account the responsibilities and positions of all units within its structure, quality assurance mechanisms established in accordance with international standards, measurement, and evaluation activities that pursue continuous improvement at every stage of the studies carried out to achieve the strategies of education-training, internationalization, research and social contribution and management strategies and the goals related to these strategies. By designing work flow processes in an integrated structure, it adopts as its quality assurance system policy to provide services to the satisfaction of employees and other internal and external stakeholders and to ensure sustainability and continuous improvement in these services.

EDUCATION POLICY

To produce knowledge on the quality of higher education in the context of global standards and interdisciplinary interactionUpdating and meeting the education and training program structure designed based on continuous improvement in line with the needs and expectations of all interested parties, continuing its student-centered education approach and research-based approaches by using new learning-teaching techniques with qualified education-training staff, helping students to recognize research processes and problems, adopts a holistic and knowledge-transforming education approach as its education policy in order to enable students to grow as innovative leaders in their fields and to be successful in their post-school lives with managers, instructors and all other employees who enable them to learn by research, attach importance to quality awareness, adopt the principles of ethics and professionalism.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT POLICY

It adopts a policy that cooperates with the public and private sectors, carries out national and international projects, supports and encourages interdisciplinary studies, is a national leader, competitive in the international arena, plays a role in solving problems in its field by contributing to the technological, economic, social and cultural development of our country, encourages R&D and innovative activities within the framework of cooperation and interaction and paves the way for the spread of these activities, continues continuous improvement and development activities with equipment and competencies suitable for the new generation digital age, integrates education with R&D with the philosophy of "transforming knowledge into products".

SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION POLICY

As a research university, Konya Food and Agriculture University determines its education-training and research-development activities in accordance with the priorities and expectations of the national, regional and local society. The University adopts as its social contribution policy an approach that takes into account the social contribution of its academic and administrative units as well as research and application centers, offers training, social and cultural activities and the added values resulting from these activities for the development and benefit of all internal and external stakeholders, is based on continuity in the realization of social contribution, uses feedback mechanisms to obtain the opinions and suggestions of stakeholders in all these activities, and considers cultural and environmental sensitivity.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY

All activities carried out at the University are carried out within the framework of the relevant legal regulations, in line with the needs and expectations of all internal and external stakeholders, with institutional knowledge and competent manpower who strive to transform this knowledge into products. It adopts a management system policy that meticulously monitors and develops the processes in the use of human and infrastructure resources with a focus on efficiency and productivity, taking into account the effectiveness of management, accountability and public disclosure through the information management system and practices that support the general quality policies of the institution, is sensitive especially on environmentally friendly agriculture and safe food, and ensures the protection and reliability of corporate and personal information.

INTERNATIONALIZATION POLICY

It has an international integration approach in the process of integrating these activities in order to achieve its goals in line with its quality assurance system, education-training, research-development, social contribution and management system policies and strategies determined in line with these policies. Since the medium of instruction is English, in this context, it adopts as its internationalization policy to educate individuals with high international competitiveness, to provide services as an international and intercultural institution by supporting international cooperation, connections and partnerships, international student and staff mobility, and to ensure sustainability and improvement in these services.

DISTANCE EDUCATION POLICY

Continuing distance education activities with online (synchronous) and offline (asynchronous) course tools and applications in line with the quality assurance system and education and training policy developed in line with the strategies and goals related to these strategies, which it has determined in line with its unique mission and vision, It adopts an approach that aims to continuously improve the quality and technical infrastructure of distance education with qualified and reliable information resources and support services offered to students and instructors during education, and systematically monitors the evaluations of the distance education system with the participation of all relevant stakeholders as a distance education policy.
