Message from the Dean

The main objective of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture is to provide scientific and technical solutions to the problems and needs of humanity, especially the domestic agricultural industry.To train innovative and entrepreneurial graduates who can offer services, have sufficient knowledge and equipment with accredited education and training activities, and can apply their basic and professional knowledge in the field.

The paths that Konya Food and Agriculture University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture will follow to achieve these goals are determined as follows:

We will be a faculty that transforms knowledge into products and develops innovative ideas. We will train engineers and interior architects who can research, design, transform their knowledge into products and produce, not just graduates burdened with theoretical knowledge. Our faculty, course, workshop and laboratory infrastructures have been and continue to be structured according to this goal.

We will train graduates who work in cooperation with industry, know and solve industrial problems. For this purpose, we will provide environments in undergraduate education where real industrial projects can be taken, where we can work in close contact with the industry, and industrial internships will be given special importance.

Our goal of raising entrepreneurial, self-confident engineers and interior architects who can do business on their own, produce ideas and projects, and establish collaborations with external stakeholders will be the main goal of all our courses. Our students will be equipped with the necessary equipment to establish companies in Technology Development Centers and collaborations with these centers will be realized.

Since our students are provided with minor and double major education, they will be able to have competencies from different departments.

Our laboratories and workshops will be open to all our students and they will be provided with financial and scientific support to implement their ideas and projects.

Courses have been organized to train our students as engineers and interior architects who have developed leadership skills and aspire to project leadership. In addition, inspiring business people and invited speakers will help our students gain this characteristic.

All our courses have been prepared in accordance with international equivalencies and our education and training will be carried out in accordance with the quality management system in which our graduates will be considered equivalent in every country.

Our education will be student-based. In our faculty, a management and education and training development model will be implemented in which the ideas and suggestions of each of our students will be taken into consideration.

Social skills of prospective engineers will be increased by organizing special information and career days through the already established clubs.

To achieve these goals, we will work together, design together and turn our knowledge and ideas into products together. We will prepare our country for the future together.
