Our university’s AgriNova Team has qualified for the finals of the TEKNOFEST 2025 TRNC Research Project Competition in the Agriculture Category, scoring 85.5 points during the online presentation and judging phase with its AgriTron project.
The project developed by the team aims to create an autonomous, electric agricultural vehicle that uses UV rays for fungicide treatment. This innovative vehicle also aims to increase agricultural productivity and reduce chemical use by performing precision fertilization and spraying.
We congratulate our team members—Yusuf Ziya Yavuz, Hamiyet Görgülü, İsmail Tuncer, Ömer Cüce, Murat Çelik, and Ramazan Aktaş—led by our advisor Hasan Basri Öksüz, and wish them success in the final to be held in Cyprus!
