Our university’s AgriNova Team qualified for the finals of the TEKNOFEST 2025 TRNC Research Project Competition’s Agriculture Category with its AgriTron project, scoring 85.5 points in the online presentation and judging phase.
The project developed by the team aims to create an autonomous, electric agricultural vehicle that uses UV rays for fungicide treatment. This innovative vehicle also aims to increase agricultural productivity and reduce chemical use by performing precision fertilization and spraying.
Our team delivered a successful presentation at the final held in Cyprus and achieved a significant success by finishing the competition in 5th place with a score of 82.18.
We congratulate our team members—Yusuf Ziya Yavuz, Hamiyet Görgülü, İsmail Tuncer, Ömer Cüce, Murat Çelik, and Ramazan Aktaş—led by our advisor Hasan Basri Öksüz, and wish them continued success.
