
Fourth-year students from the Department of Computer Engineering—Rabia Gövez, Halil Selvitopu, Şükran Feyza Öğmüş, and Rüstem Fatih Akbulut—presented their research project titled “Digital Agricultural Transformation: Sustainable Efficiencyinthe Digital Environment,” have been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Student Research Projects Support Program.
This research project aims to comprehensively address agricultural processes and the challenges encountered to increase productivity, while also seeking to streamline the management of production processes.Through the development of mobile and web applications, the project aims to support rural development and sustainable agriculture, facilitate access to information, enhance collaboration between farmers and agricultural engineers, and promote the widespread adoption of digital transformation in agriculture.Through this project, parameters such as the condition of agricultural lands, plant health, water usage, and environmental conditions will be analyzed in real time, providing farmers with the opportunity to make data-driven decisions.
