About SARGEM Laboratories

Strategic Products Development, Application and Research Center (SARGEM) Special Food Control Laboratory and Biocidal Product Analysis Laboratory, established within the Economic Enterprise of Konya Food and Agriculture University, responds to important needs in the region and in our country with its Quality Management System, qualified and experienced personnel, internationally (ISO, AOAC, NMKL etc.) and nationally (TS, TGK etc.) valid methods, modern physical spaces and infrastructure, state-of-the-art technological devices and equipment.

Konya Food and Agriculture University SARGEM Special Food Control Laboratory has received the "Establishment Competence Permit Certificate" from the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock of the Republic of Turkey and has the competence to work in 66 different analyzes. In addition, it has the authority to perform 120 different analyzes with the "TSE Laboratory Approval to Receive Testing Service".

Our laboratory is included in the KOSGEB supplier pool in order to serve SMEs and is also authorized to provide certified training by opening Vocational Training Courses for food enterprises within the scope of the protocol with the Konya Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of National Education.

SARGEM Private Food Control Laboratory also provides physical, chemical, microbiological, instrumental and molecular biological analysis services in food, feed, water and aquaculture products for the food and feed sector in our country and in our region, as well as consultancy, audit and training services on food safety issues. In addition, our laboratory provides services to universities, private sector, non-governmental organizations, breeder-producer associations, foundations, professional organizations, chambers and stock exchanges and real persons, and has the necessary infrastructure and human resources to carry out joint research projects. In addition, applied R&D studies for the food industry and collaborations between universities and industry are also carried out.

In the Biocidal Product Analysis Laboratory within SARGEM, biological efficacy analysis of biocidal products on mosquitoes, house flies (houseflies) and cockroaches are carried out and our laboratory is authorized by the Ministry of Health.

In determining the analyzes to be carried out in our SARGEM Laboratories, studies were carried out by taking into account the demands and suggestions from the sector, the needs of the sector, and the demands and suggestions from our enterprises. Legal approvals have been obtained and scope expansion efforts will continue with the completion of the accreditation process.
