Based on the fact that the information that meets the needs is more valuable, it is necessary to determine who, when and what information is needed and to deliver the information according to the need. In today's business environment, the need for information must be met correctly for every level and every stakeholder of the business, from senior managers to the lowest level employee, from business partners to customers. Obtaining information that will form the basis for strategic decisions for businesses is possible by collecting and analyzing appropriate and sufficient data. Our Department of Management Information Systems aims to train “information professionals” that businesses need today and in the near future.

Our curriculum, which is prepared for the education of qualified workforce to work in the field of information technologies in the private sector and public institutions, aims to graduate students who are strong in both fields by blending business and informatics subjects. Our program has four components: basic courses for social sciences, basic IT courses, IT management courses and business courses. In this way, our students will graduate with the professional technical knowledge needed in the field on a strong scientific background.

In the Management Information Systems undergraduate program, students receive both an advanced technical education based on quantitative methods and an applied education that shows how this technical knowledge is used in solving problems encountered in social life. Thanks to the internship programs included in the undergraduate curriculum, students have actual application and working experience.
