As the Department of Psychology, our main aim is not only to examine the patterns of emotions, thoughts and behaviors of human beings from birth to death, but also to analyze this complex structure in terms of social, culturalTo train competent individuals who can comprehend, analyze and transfer the scientific data they obtain to the solution of social problems with a holistic approach within its cultural and vital geography.

Although psychology is a young discipline rooted in philosophy, it points to the most critical point to understand the challenges that arise in all areas of life today, such as politics, technology, health and economy: the human being. With this awareness, we adopt an educational philosophy that not only conveys theoretical knowledge, but also provides students with analytical thinking skills to understand human behavior and mental processes, and teaches them to bring different approaches to problems from an interdisciplinary perspective.

As Konya Food and Agriculture University Department of Psychology, with our undergraduate program established in 2019, we offer a curriculum based on the learning-by-doing model above national and international academic standards. General field education, which progresses from theoretical to practical, is enriched with research, project and social responsibility-oriented courses. We aim for our students to graduate as qualified psychologists who transform theoretical knowledge into practical skills by gaining in-depth knowledge in core areas such as Cognitive, Experimental, Social and Clinical Psychology.
