2. The MEGA High School and College Esports Tournament Has Taken Place!

The MEGA Esports Tournament for High Schools and Universities, organized in collaboration with Meram Municipality and Konya University of Food and Agriculture, took place.

Featuring thrilling matches, the tournament also transformed into a true youth festival with its various events.

Organized under the leadership of the Konya Food and Agriculture University E-Sports Club, the High School and University E-Sports Tournament took place with high participation, thrilling matches, prizes, and surprises.

Organized as part of Meram Municipality’s mega project, the Meram Development Academy (MEGA), the High School and University MEGA E-Sports Tournament featured thrilling matches. Hosted by the Mehmet Ali Özbuğday Youth Center, the tournament concluded with the final matches. A total of 146 teams and 830 students participated in the free-to-enter tournament. For Valorant, 100 teams applied, while 46 teams applied for League of Legends.

As awards were presented to the top-performing teams during a ceremony, Prof. Dr. Kıvanç Bilecen, Vice Rector of Konya Food and Agriculture University, also attended the final matches and the award ceremony. Following the final matches, the champions were ranked as follows: In the League of Legends category, the Homo Sapiens team took first place, NEÜ E-Sports came in second, and KTO Karatay E-Sports secured third place. In the Valorant category, Allesgut took first place, The Cursed Fives came in second, and Asasanın Müridleri claimed third place.
