TOPRAQ Representatives Met with Students at the Digital Agriculture Technologies Conference

Konya Food and Agriculture University, selected by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) as a university specializing in "Digital Technologies in Agriculture," hosted the event titled "Digital Agriculture Technologies" in collaboration with TOPRAQ, one of the sector's leading technology companies hosted an event titled “Digital Agriculture Technologies.”

The event, held on October 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in our university’s conference hall, was attended by our faculty members and students. In today’s world, where traditional farming methods are giving way to smart systems and automation, the event—organized to strengthen university-industry collaboration and introduce our students to the field’s latest technologies—proved to be highly productive.

As part of the event, Mr. Özkan Yurduseven, Regional Manager of TOPRAQ, and Mr. Mert Sönmez, Senior Agricultural Engineer, served as speakers. These experts delivered comprehensive presentations on digital transformation processes in the agricultural sector, data-driven production models, and innovative systems used in the field. Through the booths set up at the event and the presentations given, participants had the opportunity to get an up-close look at “TOPRAQ” digital agriculture solutions developed by the company, such as weather stations, irrigation optimization devices, and digital pheromone traps.

The event, which significantly contributed to reinforcing our students’ academic theoretical knowledge with next-generation field technologies, featured insightful discussions on current trends in agricultural technology.

The program, which addressed participants’ questions during a Q&A session, concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation by our MYO Director, Dr. Ziya ALTAŞ, to Mr. Özkan YURDUSEVEN and Mr. Mert SÖNMEZ, and concluded with a commemorative photo taken to mark the occasion.
