The G-Force Team Has Qualified as a Finalist with Their Project Titled “Flagellum-Driven Chemotactic Nanobots: A New Generation of Targeted Therapy in the Fight Against Cancer”

In the University and Above Level category of the Biotechnology Innovation Competition’s Project Category, held as part of Teknofest 2025 ,the G-Force team —comprising our Ph.D. student Zeynep Demirsoy, and our master’s students Belma Taş, Merve Şeker, and Fatmanur Elif Sara—qualified as finalists with their project titled “Flagellum-Driven Chemotactic Nanobots: A New Generation of Precision Therapy in the Fight Against Cancer.”

Conducted under the supervision ofAssoc. Prof. Dr. Gülcihan Gülseren, the project garnered significant praise from the jury for its innovative approach—which could revolutionize cancer treatment—and its high technical achievement in the field of biotechnology. The project aims to enable targeted drug delivery and precise intervention against tumor cells through nanobots that are chemotaxis-responsive and capable of movement via their flagellar structure.

The G-Force team, which has brought pride to Konya Food and Agriculture Universitywith these significant achievements, aims to contribute to enhancing our country’s global competitive strength in science and technology.
