Graduation Celebrations at Konya University of Food and Agriculture

Konya University of Food and Agriculture bid farewell to its Class of 2025 with great pride and excitement. The graduation ceremony, held on the university campus, turned into a true celebration with the participation of faculty members, students’ families, and numerous guests.

The students, lined up in their graduation gowns, experienced both pride and sadness throughout the ceremony. The caps that flew into the sky during the cap-tossing ceremony became a symbol of years of hard work and determination.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Board of Trustees Chairman Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç stated, “Since our establishment, Konya Food and Agriculture University has carried a mission and vision on our shoulders. Our mission is to cultivate leaders for our country and generate solutions beneficial to humanity, guided by the light of knowledge, technology, and innovation. Our vision is to contribute to a pioneering, innovative, and sustainable world on both national and international levels.

You are the finest representatives of this vision. Now, alongside your student identity, you are graduates and responsible individuals ready to serve this country and the world. The diplomas you receive today are not merely certificates of the courses you took and the exams you passed. They are also a symbol of the responsibility you bear toward this land, these people, and all of humanity.

“As you leave Konya Food and Agriculture University, do not leave behind only memories. Keep the friendships you’ve built here, the values you’ve acquired, and the vision you’ve gained alive in your hearts. No matter where you are, no matter which city or country you live in, this school is your home. Our doors will always be open to you,” he said.

Prof. Dr. Erol Turan, Rector ofKonya Food and Agriculture University, added:

“Today, we are not merely sending off graduates with diplomas; we are sending off young people who carry knowledge, responsibility, and a vision for the future. You are the productive future of this country. We sincerely believe that as individuals who will play a leading role in agriculture, food, and sustainability, you will make significant contributions to our nation’s development.”We are celebrating a milestone you have reached through years of hard work, effort, and determination. The students, whose joy was evident in their eyes, immortalized this special day by taking commemorative photos together at the final stop of their educational journey. At the ceremony, which was filled with flowers, gifts, and plenty of hugs, the parents were just as proud and excited as the students.
