Duties, Authorities and Responsibilities

  1. It provides the administrative services required by the educational units of our University in cooperation with other units of our University in a complete and timely manner,
  2. It contributes to the execution of the education and training process planned by the Senate decision as envisaged,
  3. Organizes the work to be done in the Department, ensures the necessity of the incoming documents and prepares the reply letters,
  4. Continuously follows the legislation concerning the Department,
  5. Contributes to the organization and creation of the academic calendar,
  6. Ensures the implementation of decisions related to education and training,
  7. Carries out the necessary work and procedures related to the new registration acceptance, registration renewal and course status of the students,
  8. It ensures that students' quota, deregistration, transfer, vertical transfer, dismissal, graduation and military service procedures are carried out,
  9. Supervises, initials and submits the letters written in the unit to the Rector's Office,
  10. Conducts various daily correspondence,
  11. Follows the amendments to the regulations,
  12. It processes and updates the courses of the academic year accepted by the Senate and all information about the Faculty and Institute to the Student Affairs Information System,
  13. It enters the information of all students studying at the university regarding the courses and exams into the Student Affairs Information System,
  14. Defines the information of the lecturers who will conduct the course from the course registration dates to the system,
  15. Before the course registration dates, it makes the advisor assignment procedures through the system,
  16. Performs student ID printing and distribution procedures,
  17. Makes course opening procedures through the system, announces them to students and directs students to their advisors to register for courses.
  18. Defines the Examination Schedules (Midterm-Final-Compilation) to the system and announces them to the students,
  19. Answers the oral and written questions of the faculty members/staff about the Student Affairs Information System they use, and provides information about the use of the program,
  20. It ensures that the tuition accrual is made by reviewing whether there is a special situation such as inadvertent tuition fee payers, children of veterans and martyrs, registration freeze, and sending the payment order to the Strategy Development Department,
  21. Makes grade corrections approved by the Faculty Executive Board,
  22. It ensures that the services provided by the Student Affairs Department are carried out efficiently and quickly,
  23. Ensures that all documents belonging to students are prepared (student certificate, transcript, deregistration request form, etc.).
  24. Carries out the registration and filing process within the Department,
  25. Carries out scholarship and support services for successful students and correspondence procedures related to scholarships.
  26. Prepares forms, reports and tables requested by official institutions such as YÖK, ÖSYM,
  27. It ensures that the registration announcements (place of registration, date of registration, documents required for registration, etc.) for newly enrolled students are announced on the web page and that the pre-registration and final registration procedures of the candidates are carried out,
  28. Carries out graduation procedures of students and monitoring of graduates,
  29. Provides information and document services such as identity cards, diplomas and graduation certificates to students and faculty members,
  30. Ensures that written and oral questions from students are answered,
  31. Creates a student password in the Student Affairs Information System and notifies students,
  32. Requests the files of transfer students from their home universities by correspondence. Follows up those whose files are not received.
  33. They issue the ID cards of the students who come to our faculty by transfer,
  34. Sends the files of transfer students to the relevant universities,
  35. Responds to questions from students' parents and those seeking information about the university,
  36. Files incoming and outgoing documents and fulfills the requirements of the documents received by the Department,
  37. Ensures that correspondence is made with internal university units and external institutions,
  38. Carries out the procedures related to the first registration and additional placement,
  39. It carries out the deposit of tuition fees decided by the Board of Trustees in coordination with the relevant units,
  40. Performs similar duties assigned by the Senior Management,
  41. Manages the web page.
