At our university, students have the opportunity to gain academic knowledge in a different field of interest alongside their own major program. Within this scope, the Minor Program offers students the chance to specialize in a second field.

Graduation and Certificate

Students who successfully complete their major program along with the minor program are awarded a Minor Program Certificate. This certificate is presented as an additional academic achievement alongside the student's diploma.

1. What is the difference between a minor and a double major?
   A double major program enables students to earn a second bachelor's degree. In a minor program, students gain specialization in an additional field and receive a certificate, but a second diploma is not awarded.
2. Is there a quota limitation for the minor program?
   Yes. Students are admitted to minor programs within a quota determined each year. Quotas are announced by the relevant department.
3. In which semesters are minor program courses offered?
   Minor program courses are offered according to the course schedule of the relevant department. Students may enroll by making use of the course schedule announced at the beginning of each semester.
4. How are applications made to the minor program?
   Applications are submitted online through the Office of Student Affairs within the announced application period.
5. How is the minor certificate reflected on the diploma?
   Upon graduation, in addition to their major diploma, students receive a Minor Program Certificate for the field they have completed. This certificate is added to the student's academic record as an official document.
