About Our Faculty

The Faculty of Agricultural and Natural Sciences at Konya University of Food and Agriculture conducts education, research, and applied activities through its Departments of Plant Production and Technologies and Molecular Biology and Genetics. The Faculty aims to train qualified professionals for sustainable agriculture, reliable food production, and the effective use of biological resources by adopting a holistic approach to agricultural production, biological sciences, and modern technologies. The English-language educational programs are supported by student laboratories, research laboratories, experimental fields, and greenhouse facilities; the goal is to develop students’ competencies in scientific thinking, analytical problem-solving, research, practical application, and teamwork. The Faculty also constitutes one of the university’s core academic components in its specialization focus through the scientific research it conducts in the fields of agriculture and life sciences.
