- The original diploma from the applicant’s high school (the original will be viewed during registration; a photocopy will be made and certified) or a certified copy, or a recent graduation certificate,
- A printout of the 2026 YKS Results Certificate (including the Document Showing Preference Order, Placement Scores, and Success Rankings) (to be evaluated for the Preference Scholarship and Merit Scholarship offered by our university)
- A document showing the applicant’s preference order (available on the ÖSYM website),
- A photocopy of the applicant’s ID card
- 6 photographs, 4.5 cm × 6 cm in size,
- A bank-certified receipt if payment has been made (excluding students admitted to our university with a 100% scholarship). Applicants may make their payments during the registration process.

Implementation of Article 64 of the 2026-YKS Guide
The application of the conditions outlined in Article 64 of the “Part 2: Conditions” section of the 2026 Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide published by ÖSYM at our University is as follows:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING REGISTRATION
- Applicants must complete the registration process either in person at our university or through E-Government. Registration by mail will not be accepted.
- Applicants who do not complete registration during the announced registration dates will not be entitled to any rights.
- Registration cannot be processed if any of the required documents are missing; discounts will not be applied if the necessary documents for the discount cannot be submitted.
- Candidates who have earned the right to enroll at our university but are currently in the final stages of graduation from a secondary school, an associate’s degree program, or a bachelor’s degree program—and who are scheduled to take an internship, make-up exams, or a single-course exam—will also be granted provisional enrollment at our university during the specified dates. If these candidates submit the documents proving their graduation to our university by December 31, 2026, their permanent enrollment will be processed. The provisional registration of candidates who fail to provide proof of graduation by this date will be canceled; furthermore, candidates in this situation who do not complete their provisional registration by the specified dates will not be registered.
- In accordance with the decision of the General Assembly of Higher Education, as stated in the ÖSYM Guide, that candidates cannot simultaneously enroll in two full-time associate’s degree or two bachelor’s degree programs and continue their education, candidates whose situations fall under this provision will not be admitted unless they terminate their enrollment at the higher education institution where they are currently enrolled
2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR SUPPLEMENTARY PLACEMENT ENGLISH LEVEL DETERMINATION AND PROficiency EXAM
(October 12, 2026)
The purpose of the English Preparatory Class, operated under the Department of Foreign Languages, is to ensure that students reach the B2 level in English so they can successfully follow courses in their respective departments. The English Preparatory Class will provide instruction to students who have been admitted to our University’s English-language undergraduate programs but whose English proficiency is insufficient. Accordingly, students with an average score below 65 on the English Placement and Proficiency Exam will be placed in the Department of Foreign Languages’ Preparatory Class, while those with a score of 65 or higher will continue their undergraduate studies. At the undergraduate level, in another institution of higher education where the language of instruction is English, Konya University of Food and Agriculture “English Placement and Proficiency Exam” or achieve a score of at least 84 on the TOEFL (IBT) exam and provide documentation of this score. The TOEFL IBT Home Edition will not be accepted.
For students admitted to our university through the supplementary placement process, the 2026–2027 Academic-Teaching Year Supplementary Placement English Placement and Proficiency Exam will be administered on October 12, 2026, at the Department of Foreign Languages of Konya Food and Agriculture University. Students who failed the preparatory class or summer school during the 2025–2026 academic year are eligible to take the Supplementary Placement English Proficiency and Placement Exam. In addition, students who enrolled for the 2026–2027 academic year but did not take the English Placement and Proficiency Exam held on September 7–8, 2026, or who took it but failed, will also be eligible to take this exam. Students currently enrolled in the preparatory class for the 2026–2027 academic year who failed the preparatory class or summer school in the 2025–2026 academic year must submit a handwritten, signed petition stating their intention to take the exam in person (to our University’s Document Registration Office) or send a scanned copy of their petition to the email address info@gidatarim.edu.tr by 5:00 PM on October 9, 2026.
SUPPLEMENTARY PLACEMENT ENGLISH LEVEL ASSESSMENT AND PROficiency EXAM SESSIONS
(October 12, 2026)
An Additional Placement English Placement and Proficiency Exam will be administered to assess the English proficiency of students newly enrolled at our university through the additional placement process. The Additional Placement English Placement and Proficiency Exam consists of two sessions. Sample questions for the exams can be found under the “Level Placement Exam” https://yabdil and “English Language Education” tabs on the Department of Foreign Languages website at Konya Food and Agriculture University . Written Exam – 65 points Section 1 (50 points): In this section, students will be asked 50 questions covering reading, vocabulary, and grammar. Section 2 (15 points): In this section, students will be asked to write an essay of at least 250 words on a given topic. | |
SESSION2 (Department of Foreign Languages) | Speaking Exam—20 Points In the speaking exam, students are first expected to provide general information about themselves. Afterward, they will be asked questions on various topics. |
NOTE:Students who achieve a total score of at least 65 on theEnglishPlacement and Proficiency Exam will be considered successful. Students who do not take the English Placement and Proficiency Exam are considered to have accepted placement at the most basic language level. Our Department of Foreign Languages recommends that students take this exam to ensure they are placed in the correct class and at the appropriate level. | |
