
Led by Dr. Gül İmriz, an assistant professor at our university, in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülcihan Gülseren, titled “Investigation of the Antimicrobial Effect of Amino Acid-Modified Fullerene Derivatives on Certain Bacterial Pathogens Causing Tomato Diseases,” has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 1002 - Rapid Support Program.
Within the scope of the project, the antimicrobial efficacy of amino acid-modified fullerene derivatives will be investigated against bacterial pathogens that cause significant economic losses in tomato plants. This innovative study aims to develop environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative control methods.
The project’s results are expected to provide significant contributions both scientifically and in terms of agricultural production.
