Continuation Requirement

The following are the policies regarding absences in our Foreign Languages Department:

The English Preparatory Class has a duration of 32 weeks. A total of 864 hours of English instruction is provided, with 27 hours per week. Students are required to attend 85% of classes (734 hours). Students are allowed 15% (130 hours) of absences. Students who fail to meet the attendance requirement without a valid excuse will fail the class.

Students who fail due to absences in the English Preparatory Class cannot take the final exam at the end of the academic year. However, they can take the English Level Assessment and Proficiency Exam, which will be held on the dates specified in the academic calendar.
