Mission and Vision

OUR MISSION

As the Department of Plant Production and Technologies, our mission is to provide a multidisciplinary education that integrates the fundamental agricultural sciences with the disciplines of biotechnology, data analytics, and engineering. Through laboratory and fieldwork, and the 7+1 Industry-Integrated Education model, enabling students to gain firsthand experience with modern agricultural technologies; to develop sustainable production solutions that are climate-resilient and make efficient use of resources; and to cultivate innovative agricultural engineers equipped with critical thinking skills. Furthermore, the department aims to contribute to agricultural development on both national and global scales by developing R&D projects that directly address the real challenges faced by producers and the agricultural sector.

OUR VISION

To be a pioneer in modern agricultural education and biotechnological research at the national and international levels, developing innovative models in digital and precision agriculture, playing a leading role in global food security and sustainable agricultural policies, and being a flagship department whose graduates assume leadership roles in the agricultural industry and are held up as a model.
