At our university, students have the opportunity to gain academic knowledge in a different field of interest in addition to their major. In this context, the Minor Program offers students the opportunity to specialize in a second field.

Graduation and Certification

Students who successfully complete both their major and minor programs are awarded a Minor Certificate. This certificate is presented as an additional academic achievement on students’ graduation documents.

• A dual major program allows students to earn a second bachelor’s degree.
• In a minor program, however, students gain expertise in an additional field and receive a certificate, but are not awarded a second degree.

2. Are there enrollment limits for minor programs?

• Yes. Students are admitted to minor programs within the quota set each year. Quotas are announced by the relevant department.

3. In which semesters are minor courses offered?

• Minor courses are offered according to the relevant department’s course schedule. Students can register using the course schedule announced at the beginning of the semester.

4. How do I apply for a minor program?

• Applications are submitted online through the Office of Student Affairs within the announced timeline.

5. How is the minor certificate reflected on the diploma?

• Upon graduation, students receive a Minor Certificate for the field they have completed, in addition to their major diploma. This certificate is added to the student’s academic record as an official document.
