The 2026 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) placement results have been announced. Konya Food and Agriculture University (KGTÜ) achieved an overall placement rate of 92.71 per cent in the 2026 YKS placement results.
Konya University of Food and Agriculture offers its students a well-rounded university experience, not only through its specialised structure in the fields of agriculture and food, but also through the educational opportunities it provides in various disciplines such as engineering, information technology, business administration, psychology, interior design and international trade.

Noting that the 2026 YKS results are an important indicator for KGTÜ, Rector Prof. Dr Erol Turan stated that the 92.71 per cent enrolment rate achieved is a significant sign of confidence in the university’s educational philosophy and vision for the future.
In his assessment, Rector Prof. Dr Erol Turan made the following remarks:
“As Konya University of Food and Agriculture, we are delighted to have achieved an enrolment rate of 92.71 per cent in the 2026 YKS placement results. We view this result not merely as an enrolment rate, but as a significant indicator of the trust our students and their families place in our university, our educational model and our vision for the future.
As KGTU, our aim is not merely to graduate our students, but to prepare them for the world of the future and the world of work. For this reason, we have built our educational philosophy around practical application, projects, industry experience, entrepreneurship, digital technologies and internationalisation, alongside theoretical knowledge.
Whilst maintaining our specialised identity in the fields of agriculture and food, we also provide our students with a robust educational environment in disciplines such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, information technology, engineering, business, psychology and others.
In particular, we believe that artificial intelligence, biotechnology, digital technologies, sustainability and data-driven production systems will be decisive factors in the future of the agriculture and food sector. Our aim is to educate our students not merely to be followers of this transformation, but to be active participants in it.
We are further strengthening our university’s applied education approach.
