Founding Foundation

06 November 2010 dated and published in the Official Gazette No. 27751, the Scientific Research, Technology, Education and Culture Foundation was established in Konya.

The purpose of our foundation is "to carry out activities especially in the fields of social, health, agriculture, technology, education, training and cultural services in order to ensure that the young generations are able to develop a scientific and rational thinking, who internalize democracy, secularism and republican governance and make it a way of life, who have internalized scientific and rational thinking; to raise young generations as individuals who are knowledgeable, researcher, cultured, have a command of modern technology, can produce knowledge and technology and use it for the benefit of humanity, have high work ethics and work discipline, are ready to compete at the international level, are productive, creative, entrepreneurial and superior, are more beneficial to our country and to all humanity, value human beings and the environment, and in accordance with the understanding of lifelong education, to work, serve and contribute to the development of people of all ages and levels in terms of knowledge and culture, to become productive and useful. To work, serve and contribute to the modernization and efficiency of the agricultural sector through the development of scientific research understanding and institutions."

With the decision of the Board of Directors of our Foundation dated November 23, 2010; in accordance with Article 130 of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, it has adopted the establishment of a university in Konya under the name of Konya Food and Agriculture University, taking the necessary administrative and financial measures for this project and initiating the process. 18 June 2013 dated and 28681 numbered Official Gazette published the establishment of Konya Food and Agriculture University.
