Seed and Plant Health Clinic

Konya Food and Agriculture University, Seed and Plant Health Clinic, established in 2023, is a plant hospital where diagnostic and combat studies are carried out against diseases that are a problem in agricultural production in our country.

It is a clinic where seed-borne diseases before planting, diseases that occur during the growing process and diseases that occur after harvesting are identified and correct and effective control methods are determined.

At the Seed and Plant Health Clinic, the problems faced by our farmers during the production season are identified and the most accurate struggle strategies are presented.

In addition, the clinic conducts studies within the scope of biological control against biotic and abiotic stress factors that cause developmental disorders in plants. In order to solve the pathological and environmental problems that occur in agricultural products against the problems that arise due to climate change or whose effect is increasing, struggle strategies that allow the sustainability of agricultural production by protecting the ecological balance are developed.

The Seed and Plant Health Clinic offers university students the opportunity to complete their internship training and contributes significantly to the academic development of our students who actively participate in scientific research and projects carried out within the clinic.
