Message from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees

Born in Konya, the capital of peace and tolerance, in the center of production and labor, Konya Food and Agriculture University was established in 2013 by Konya Şeker A.It was established in 2013 by the Scientific Research, Technology, Education and Culture Foundation operating within Konya Şeker A.Ş. In 2020, our university, which gave its first graduates, continues its path with determination as Turkey's first and only specialized university in the field of food and agriculture.

Konya Food and Agriculture University is not only an educational institution; it is a science center that adds value to the soil, producers and the future. Rising with the labor of our regional farmers, this university has adopted the main goal of contributing to sustainable development by bringing agriculture together with science and technology. With the strength of Anadolu Birlik Holding's deep-rooted experience in the integration of agriculture and industry, our university is becoming a higher education institution that attracts attention and cooperation both in Turkey and internationally.

The studies carried out within our university are based on the understanding of efficient production, healthy food and environmentally friendly agriculture. Researches carried out especially in the field of microbial fertilizers and innovative agricultural practices ensure the direct reflection of knowledge on the field; while increasing the production power of our farmers, it also contributes to the protection of natural resources. Konya Food and Agriculture University aims to be a center that contributes to the development of agricultural activities not only in our country but also in different geographies with the projects it develops.

In line with the vision of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk based on reason and science; our greatest source of motivation is to raise hardworking, productive individuals who embrace their own culture and are open to universal values. While our university educates qualified human resources in the field of agriculture and food, it also sees it as a responsibility to share this knowledge with all segments of society.

With our internationally experienced academic staff, strong research infrastructure, modern educational environments and application-based teaching approach; we invite our young people, scientists and all our stakeholders who want to have a say in the future of agriculture and food to Konya Food and Agriculture University family.
