Message from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees

Konya Food and Agriculture University, which was established in 2013 by the "Scientific Research Technology Education and Culture Foundation" within Konya Şeker A.Ş., which is a subsidiary of the cooperatives established by sugar beet farmers in Konya, the capital of peace and tolerance, and gave its first graduates in 2020, is the first and only specialized university of our country in the field of food and agriculture.

Rising on the shoulders of the farmers of the region, Konya Food and Agriculture University is taking firm steps towards becoming a nationally and internationally preferred Higher Education Institution with the strength it receives from Anadolu Birlik Holding, which was established in 2008 to put forward a sustainable model that develops world standards in agricultural development and agricultural industry integration.

The most important factor that excites us is to contribute to the training of scientists and professionals who believe in the guiding power of reason and science, who know that the most basic element of success is perseverance and effort, who have a command of their own culture, who have universal human values, who value human beings and who are equipped with the ideal of serving humanity inthe footsteps of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

As Konya Food and Agriculture University, we welcome our young people, interlocutors and scientists who want to walk with us on this path and have a say in the future of our country with our internationally trained academic staff who accept it as a duty to support our farmers who work for the development and development of our country and our region and for all living things to access healthy and clean food, with our projects we carry out, our laboratories with rich technical equipment, our education buildings with modern and smart classrooms.
