Announcement Regarding the Minor Program for the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year
Transfer Between Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree Programs at Institutions of Higher Education, Double Major, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer, as well as the provisions of our University’s Minor Program Guidelines, the requirements for applying to the Minor Program and the application schedule are outlined below.
A- REQUIREMENTS
- Students must apply no earlier than the beginning of their third semester and no later than the beginning of their sixth semester, starting from the first semester in which they enrolled in their major bachelor’s program.
- To be eligible for the minor program, students must have completed all required courses in their major undergraduate program up to the semester of application, earned a grade of DD (C-) or higher in those courses, received an “S” grade in courses where letter grades are not assigned, and maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.
- Applications must be submitted to the Office of Student Affairs by the deadline specified in the published application calendar.
B- REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION

- Transcript (This will be attached to your application by the Office of Student Affairs.)
C- APPLICATIONS
-Applicants wishing to apply tothe Minor Programmust submit their applications in person to the Office of Student Affairs along with the application form during the specified dates. Under no circumstances will applications be accepted after the specified application deadline.
-The student is responsible for any delays resulting from applications sent by mail.

In line with our university’s commitment, any student who meets the minor program application requirements may pursue a minor in any degree program of their choice. For this reason, no enrollment quota has been set.
F- EVALUATION
Whether students meet the application requirements is evaluated by committees established by the respective faculties. Decisions are made by the administrative boards.
G- REGISTRATION
Students who have been granted the right to enroll in a minor program must submit a written application to the Office of Student Affairs to register. The Office of Student Affairs will process the students’ enrollment. Students are not required to submit any documents during final registration.
