Registration Renewal and Course Registration
2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR SPRING SEMESTER UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS' REGISTRATION RENEWAL AND COURSE REGISTRATIONS
1. Registration renewal and course registrations will start on Monday, February 2, 2026 and end on Friday, February 6, 2026.
2. Advisor approvals will start on Monday, February 2, 2026 and end on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
CONSIDERATIONS FOR COURSE REGISTRATIONS
1. First of all, it is considered that it will be useful to examine Article 26 under the heading of Course Load and Article 14 under the heading of Term and Course Registrations in the Undergraduate Education and Training Regulations of our University.
2. The course registrations of the students are made by the students through the Student Information System (OBS) within the framework of the guidance and suggestions of the advisors, and enter into practice with the approval of the advisors.
3. First year students take 30 ECTS credits in the first and second semester.
4. The normal course load of a student in each semester is at least 30 ECTS and at most 40 ECTS credits. However, students can take courses below these course loads with the approval of their advisors if they wish according to their situation and the requirements of the associate / undergraduate program. Students must first take the lower class courses that they have failed and / or not taken. (Except for senior students)
5. Intermediate students, primarily to take the courses they failed and did not take in the lower semesters (classes), students with a grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 can take 40 ECTS credit courses provided that their courses do not overlap, and students with a GPA below 2.00 can take 30 ECTS credit courses.
6. With the positive opinion of the advisor, the student can take courses from the upper semester / year up to 20% of the total ECTS of the courses in the current semester / year program, provided that he / she is successful in all courses in the lower grades and has a GPA of at least 2.50, except for the prerequisite courses. Normal course load and credit limitations are not applied to senior students.
7. ECTS credits of courses taken within the scope of double major and minor programs are not included in the semester course load.
8. In order to improve their grades, students may retake courses with a grade of DD (D) or higher within three semesters following the semester in which the course was taken. The last grade received will be valid.
9. Course registrations are made in accordance with the processes in the General Academic Calendar of our University.
