Announcement Regarding Applications for Internal Horizontal Transfers
Republic of Turkey
KONYA UNIVERSITY OF FOOD AND AGRICULTURE
ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING APPLICATIONS FOR INTERNAL HORIZONTAL TRANSFER
A- APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
GENERAL PROVISIONS:
- Application Requirements: Students may apply for an intra-institutional lateral transfer once they have completed at least one semester in their registered undergraduate program (excluding preparatory classes) and no later than the semester in which they are scheduled to begin their fifth semester in their registered undergraduate program.
- Enrollment Status: The student must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the University. Having placed one’s enrollment on hold does not preclude applying for a lateral transfer.
- Central Placement Score: To apply for a lateral transfer between degree programs within the University that admit students at the same level, the student’s central placement score—in the score category valid for the degree program they wish to transfer into as of the year they took the central exam—must not be lower than the lowest cutoff score of other degree programs at domestic universities that are equivalent to the program they wish to transfer into.
- Students wishing to transfer to undergraduate programs that require a specific academic ranking must have met the academic ranking requirement established by the Council of Higher Education for the relevant program in the year they were admitted. However, if the student’s central placement score—obtained in the score category applicable to the degree program they wish to transfer into—is not equal to or higher than the minimum admission score as of the year they took the central exam, the scholarship level they received in their original department will not carry over to the department they are transferring into.
