ANNOUNCEMENT OF APPLICATIONS FOR INTER-INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFER
A- APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
GENERAL PROVISIONS:
- Applicant’s Language of Instruction: Theapplicant must be enrolled in the same language of instruction as the program to which they wish totransfer.
- Equivalence: The applicant’scurrent degree program must be equivalent to the degree program to which they wish to transfer.
- Enrollment Status: The applicant must currently be enrolled as a student in a bachelor’s degree program at any institution of higher education. Having placed one’s enrollment on hold does not prevent the applicant from applying for a lateral transfer. However, applicants who are not currently enrolled are not eligible to apply for a lateral transfer.
- Semester: Horizontal transfers are accepted for the fall semesters of the 2nd and 3rd years at our university’s faculties. Inter-institutional horizontal transfers are not permitted for the preparatory class or for the first two or last two semesters of bachelor’s degree programs.
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA): The cumulative GPA must be at least 2.50 out of 4.00 (or at least 70 out of 100 for 100-point scales). Applicants who do not meet the GPA requirement but whose central placement score is equal to or higher than the minimum admission score for the program at our University to which they wish to transfer may apply for a lateral transfer. If the University’s bachelor’s degree program was not established in the relevant year, the applicant’s lateral transfer application cannot be evaluated for that program.

D- DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION
- Application Form: Click here for the Application Form .
- Student Certificate: Signed and stamped, or obtained from e-Government,
- Transcript: If the transcript does not include explanatory information regarding the grading system and the language of instruction for the program, documents containing this information must be attached to the transcript,
- Course Descriptions: Documents containing detailed descriptions and content information for the courses listed on the transcript (will be requested from students who are admitted).
- ÖSYS / YKS (Placement Scores) Results Certificate:For students who cannot meet the general grade point average requirement forapplication.
- Horizontal Transfer Eligibility Certificate: A signed document stating that there are no obstacles preventing applicants from transferring from their current university. (This will be required from students who have been admitted during the registration process.)
- For applications to our diploma programs taught in English: A document demonstrating that the applicant meets the foreign language exemption criteria in accordance with the Konya Food and Agriculture University Foreign Language Preparatory Class Education, Teaching, and Examination Guidelines, or has achieved the level specified in our University’s guidelines on one of the national and/or international foreign language exams, demonstrating success at the level specified in our University’s guidelines, or an official document prepared by the Student Affairs Office of the higher education institution where the applicant is enrolled, specifying the language of instruction for the program. (Only applicants from institutions where the language of instruction is entirely English will be accepted.) If this information is indicated on the transcript, no additional document is required.
- Identification Document: A national ID card with a photo and Turkish Citizenship Number. (A photocopy will be taken during the application process, and the original must be submitted.)
- Disciplinary Record: A signed and stamped document certifying that the applicant has not received any disciplinary penalties during their studies.
Applications must be submitted to the Office of Student Affairs. Students are responsible for any delays caused by the postal service when applying by mail. Applications submitted after the deadline or with missing documents will not be accepted.
E-EVALUATION
- Applications are evaluated by the relevant administrative board based on rankings calculated by including 50% of the applicant’s ÖSYS/YKS score (used for enrollment in higher education in the program’s scoring category) along with their overall grade point average.
- Evaluation results will be announced on the dates specified on the University’s website homepage and the Office of Student Affairs page.
- Candidates must complete their registration procedures within the specified registration period.
- There are no scholarship quotas available for Inter-Institutional Horizontal Transfer applications.
F- FINAL REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS
- All documents required for the application that have not been submitted as originals with wet signatures,
- 6 passport-sized photos taken within the last six months,
- A receipt confirming payment of tuition.
G- REGISTRATION
Students whose lateral transfer applications have been accepted must submit their registration documents to the Office of Student Affairs by the University’s registration deadline and pay the tuition fee. Students who fail to submit their documents by the deadline will lose their right to lateral transfer.
