Applications for Commercial UAV-1 Pilot Training Are Now Open

Date:June 3–7, 2026
Location: Konya Food and Agriculture University

As part of the Commercial UAV-1 Pilot Training program organized by Konya Food and Agriculture University, participants will have the opportunity to obtain a Commercial UAV Pilot License authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM).

Training is limited to a set number of participants. Candidates wishing to participate in the program must complete their applications via the following link:

* Our SHGM-approved UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)-1 Commercial Pilot Training consists of in-person theoretical instruction, one-on-one simulator training, and one-on-one flight training.
* Our training programs are delivered by SHGM-approved UAV pilot instructors who are experts in their field, in accordance with the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems Directive (SHT-UAV) curriculum. Our SHGM authorization code is TR-UAV-E-99.
* Upon completion of the training, you will receive an UAV-1 Commercial Pilot License Card, Certificate, and R/T Radio Communication Certificate. These certificates are valid in all 193 member countries of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
* With the UAV-1 Commercial Pilot License, you can operate UAVs weighing up to 25 kg.
* UAV-1 class pilots must be at least 15 years old. (For those under 18, a notarized and certified declaration from their legal guardians acknowledging acceptance of any future legal and criminal liabilities must be obtained.)

Training Dates: June 3 – June 7, 2026
Training Start and End Times: Weekdays: 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM, Weekends: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

NOTES:
1- Attendance is mandatory for the Drone Pilot Certification Program.
2- KGTÜ reserves the right to make changes regarding training times and other related matters.
3- There is a limited enrollment capacity. (If the quota is not filled, KGTÜ reserves the right to postpone or cancel the training.)
* Required documents for application and certification:
- Passport-sized photo
- Copy of ID Card,
- Class B Driver’s Medical Fitness Report (Appendix 7),
- Criminal Record (e-Government)
- Proof of Residence (E-Government)
