A Cooperation Protocol Was Signed with Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University in Georgia

Konya University of Food and Agriculture has taken another significant step toward its vision of internationalization. A comprehensive cooperation protocol covering academic, cultural, and social areas has been signed with Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, one of Georgia’s long-established higher education institutions.

The signed agreement aims to promote the development of academic and scientific research between the two universities. Within this framework, plans include the implementation of joint projects and the launch of faculty and student exchange programs. Additionally, enhancing cultural exchange and conducting joint initiatives in social areas are among the key provisions of the protocol.

Officials stated that this collaboration will not only strengthen ties between the universities but will also make significant contributions to academic and scientific ties between Turkey and Georgia.

Konya Food and Agriculture University aims to both enhance its academic capacity and share Turkey’s agricultural expertise with friendly and sister nations through such international agreements. University administration emphasized that similar collaborations will continue to grow in the coming period.
