Strong Partnership Between TKDK and KGTÜ

Following last week’s visit to our university by TKDK President Dr. Ahmet Antalyalı and the signing of a cooperation protocol between the two institutions, TKDK experts and the project team conducted an extensive working visit to our university.

During the visit, the production chain established by both our university and Konya Şeker was examined in detail. In particular, the R&D and product development processes carried out by KGTÜ, starting from raw material procurement, were evaluated on-site by TKDK experts. It was emphasized that the model presented in the areas of sustainable production and innovative approaches to product development was noteworthy.

During the meetings, potential roadmaps for scaling up this exemplary model—developed in collaboration with KGTÜ—across Turkey were discussed. 
At the conclusion of the visit, experts from KGTÜ and TKDK reached a consensus on further developing the collaboration in the coming period and achieving tangible outcomes through joint projects.
