KFAU’s Educational Quality Once Again Recognized Through FEDEK Accreditation

Konya Food and Agriculture University has achieved another significant milestone as a result of its commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement, and internationally recognized standards in higher education. The Department of Psychology within the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences and the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics within the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences have been accredited by FEDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Programs in Faculties of Science, Letters, Science and Letters, Language, and History-Geography).

Following a comprehensive evaluation process, the Undergraduate Program in Psychology was awarded accreditation for five years, while the Undergraduate Program in Molecular Biology and Genetics received accreditation for two years. This achievement serves as a strong indicator that our programs meet international quality standards in education, student-centered learning, continuous improvement practices, and academic excellence.

Within the scope of FEDEK accreditation, programs are evaluated in detail with respect to their educational objectives, learning outcomes, teaching and learning processes, academic staff qualifications, research infrastructure, student support services, stakeholder involvement, and quality assurance systems. The accreditation granted through this rigorous process confirms KGTÜ’s commitment to a quality culture that permeates all institutional activities, embraces continuous development, and strives to prepare students for future challenges and opportunities.
