Konya University of Food and Agriculture Strengthened International Partnerships at the CEE China Education Expo in China
Konya University of Food and Agriculture proudly represented our country and our university at the CEE China Education Expo, held in Beijing, the capital of China, from October 28 to 31. Our university, which had a booth at the “Study in Türkiye” pavilions coordinated by the National Agency, took significant steps on the international stage throughout the expo.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ezgi Aytaç and Dr. Deniz Sezlev Bilecen, who attended the expo on behalf of our university, met with numerous international students throughout the event to showcase Turkey’s and our university’s educational opportunities, academic achievements, and cultural richness. At our booths, which attracted significant interest, productive preliminary discussions were held with various universities regarding future international student exchange programs and collaborative projects.
Letters of Intent were signed with two prominent universities.
At the fair, critical agreements were signed to establish a solid foundation for academic relations. As a result of these discussions, a Letter of Intent was signed with IUBAT (International University of Business, Agriculture, and Technology), a long-established higher education institution based in Bangladesh, to lay the groundwork for future joint projects and student exchange programs.
Additionally, a similar cooperation and letter of intent agreement was reached with the Moutai Institute in China, marking the first step in establishing relations between the two institutions.
A grand gala dinner was organized as a special gesture in honor of Turkey. Konya University of Food and Agriculture was also present at this special evening, which brought together Turkey’s Ambassador to Beijing, the President of the National Agency, rectors from various universities, distinguished academics, as well as Turkish students studying in China and Turkish faculty members working there.
Our university remains firmly committed to strengthening its presence on the international stage, expanding its global academic network, and representing our country in the best possible way.
