
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Konya Food and Agriculture University, visited CSIR–Savanna Agriculture Research Institute (NRFSR2), which operates in Ghana, as part of international cooperation. During the visit, discussions focused on research conducted in the fields of agriculture and food, sustainable agricultural practices, and opportunities for joint projects.
During the visit, the work carried out at the CSIR–Savanna Agriculture Research Institute was examined on site, and the goal was to increase the sharing of knowledge and experience between the two institutions. In particular, possible academic and scientific collaborations on climate-resilient agricultural systems, plant production, and food security were discussed.
