Student Project Received Funding Under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Program

The research project titled “A New Transwell-Based Approach to Black Lipid Membrane Formation,” has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Student Research Projects Support Program.
Within the scope of this project, a new, Transwell-based approach—which is more stable and sustainable—is planned to be developed to address the high costs and stability issues associated with current Black Lipid Membrane (BLM) formation techniques. Through this study, an artificial membrane model with enhanced stability will be created using innovative methods, and its validation will be conducted in a laboratory setting. Upon successful completion of the project, the goal is to contribute an environmentally friendly method to the literature and make significant contributions to many critical BLM-based applications, such as nanopore-based sensors, drug interaction studies, and transport technology.
We congratulate our student and her advisor and wish them continued success.
