2020 YKS Registration Procedures Help Text

For the students who will enroll in our university within the scope of Article 60 (University's own students or students of other universities who have left or those who have been dismissed / dismissed and those who have graduated from a higher education program) in the preference guide,even if they register via e-government in line withthe decision of the Board of Trustees, their registrations will not be accepted if they do not pay the fee that appears athttps://odeme.gidatarim.edu.tr.

Step 1: Completion of Registration Documents

Registration documents must be uploaded to the system during pre-registration. For this reason, we recommend that you download all the documents to a folder on your computer desktop before you start the pre-registration process. So you don't have to search for each one during the pre-registration phase.

Mandatory Documents;

  • 2020-YKS Placement Results Document.
  • 2020-YKS Preference Ranking Document.
  • Student Information Form CLICK HERE
  • High School Diploma or High School Graduation Certificate or Certificate of Loss of Diploma.
  • Photocopy of Identity Card.
  • 12 (4.5x6cm biometric) photographs
Documents to be attached, if any;
  • Disability Report (Only Disabled Candidates)
  • Martyr Veteran Child Certificate
  • Farmer Registration System Certificate obtained from EU Holding or provincial/district directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey (These documents must be signed and dated 2020)
  • Sibling Student Certificate (Candidates with siblings studying at our university)
  • Certificate of Corporate Cooperation
  • Health Worker Certificate

Step 2: Uploading Discount/Scholarship Documents Before Registration

Scholarship (100%/Full Scholarship) Students will make their pre-registration directly through e-government.

Those who are students of another university and have left or dismissed / dismissed and those who have graduated from a higher education program, if they are placed in the scholarship or discounted programs of our university, in accordance with Article 60 specified for foundation universities in the YKS Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide published by ÖSYM, they can only be enrolled in our university with paid status. In this context, students who have previously graduated from a university or who are students of another university and have left, if they are placed in scholarship (full scholarship / free of charge) quotas at our university, they must pay 25% of the tuition fee of the program they are placed in, and if they are placed in 50% discount quotas, they must pay 75% of the tuition fee of the program they are placed in.

University registration procedures start with the pre-registration panel. Pre-registration is a set of transactions that enables the candidate to register the necessary documents, upload the documents and complete the payment transactions in order to determine the discount amounts during registration in the Konya Food and Agriculture University System.

Candidates with scholarship (100%/Full Scholarship) who are within the scope of Article 60, all candidates who are placed in 50% discount and paid programs are required to pre-register before starting electronic registration.

Step 3: Payment Transactions

  • Payment transactions are made from the pre-registration panel.
  • Candidates who are placed in programs with 50% discount and fee must access the fee information after the pre-registration process and make their payments.
  • Students who are entitled to benefit from discounts must have uploaded their documents that will enable them to benefit from discounts to the pre-registration panel.
Students who will use preference discount;

You can accessyour preference list from the My Preferences↔View My Preferences area after logging into the ÖSYM Candidate transactions panel.

  • If the preference lists are checked by the Financial Affairs Unit and there is no obstacle to the discount, the fee information in the system will be updated with the application of the discount and the students whose fee information has been updated will be notified via e-mail and SMS (to the phone number notified to ÖSYM).
  • Candidates whose fee information has been updated must complete the payment process from the pre-registration panel.
  • Students who are entitled to benefit from the discount but cannot upload it to the system will pay the fee of the scholarship rate of the program they are placed in.
  • Payment procedures must be completed before final registration.
  • If you enter your card information on the Credit Card payment page and select the Single Withdrawal option, your new balance is displayed on the screen by applying your 10% Advance Discount and this balance is debited from your card.

Step 4: Completing Registration via E-Government

Candidates who are placed in programs with 50% discount and fee, including those who have full scholarship and are placed within the scope of Article 60, will be informed by e-mail that they can complete their registration process electronically via e-Government gate after they access the fee information from the pre-registration panel and make their payment transactions.

Candidates who are notified by e-mail that they can complete their registration electronically via e-Government gate must complete their registration process between October 5 - 7, 2020 via e-Government.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not exit the e-Government system without seeing the text on the screen that "e-registration procedures have been successfully completed".

Candidates who have successfully completed their registration process are now a student of our university. Students who have completed the final registration process will be notified by e-mail. Students will be able to check their registration status by making a Student Certificate Inquiry on https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/yok-ogrenci-belgesi-sorgulama 1 day after the notification.

Students who do not receive an e-mail can contact our university at 444 48 83.

Step 5: Attention to the Candidates who have completed the Pre-Registration and Payment Procedures but cannot register via E-Government

The final registrations of the candidates who have completed the pre-registration and payment procedures but for any reason cannot make electronic registration (e-registration) via the e-Government gate will be completed remotely online by our University between October 5 - 7, 2020.

Candidates whose final registration process is completed by our university are now a student of our university.

Students whose final registration process has been completed will be notified via e-mail. Students will be able to check their registration status by making a Student Document Inquiry on https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/yok-ogrenci-belgesi-sorgulama 1 day after the notification.

Students who do not receive an e-mail can contact our university at 444 48 83.

Step 6: Attention to Candidates who cannot register via E-Government for Mandatory Reasons

Students whose high school graduation information cannot be obtained from the Ministry of National Education (students who graduated before 2008)
Students who have the right to enroll but cannot graduate from secondary education institutions and will take the make-up or single course exam,
Since it is not possible to enroll in two formal undergraduate programs at the same time, candidates who are currently enrolled in a formal undergraduate program will be able to register if they are dismissed from the higher education institution they are enrolled in.

Candidates who have the right to enroll in a higher education program but who are at the graduation stage in secondary education institutions, associate degree programs or undergraduate programs and who will take internship, make-up or single course exams will also be temporarily registered to our University on the specified dates.

If these candidates submit their documents regarding their graduation to our University until December 31, 2020, their actual registration will be made. The provisional registrations of those who do not certify that they have graduated until this date will be deleted and the registration of the candidates who are in this situation and do not make their provisional registrations on the specified dates will not be made.

Step 7: About Compulsory and Optional Preparatory Education

The English Proficiency exam for students who are entitled to enroll in programs whose medium of instruction is English will be held in two stages on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 10:00. Students who are successful in this exam with a score of 70/100 and above will directly start the undergraduate program they are enrolled in, while students below this level will be enrolled in English Preparatory Education for 38 weeks. Students who score below 70/100 in the English Proficiency exam will be divided into classes according to their scores. Depending on the COVID-19 Pandemic process, the English Placement Exam will be held in face-to-face or distance education environment. Students will be informed about the exam on our web page. Students who fail the English Proficiency exam will start their education in beginner level classes.
