Great Success in Scientific Impact: KGTÜ Ranks Among the Top 10 in Citation Performance in Turkey

The true success of a university is measured not only by the number of publications but also by the extent to which the knowledge it produces resonates within the scientific community. Konya Food and Agriculture University (KGTÜ) has achieved significant success in citation performance, the most tangible indicator of this understanding.

According to the 2024 Web of Science (WoS) data included in the YÖK 2025 Monitoring and Evaluation Report, KFAU ranked 6th among the universities with the highest impact values in Turkey, based on the citation rates of scientific publications with institutional addresses published in journals indexed by WoS. This result clearly demonstrates that KFAU has achieved not only quantitative but also qualitative excellence in scientific production.

Despite being a young and dynamic university, KFAU has quickly gained strong visibility in national and international academic circles, standing out particularly for its highly influential, referenced, and pioneering publications. The citation rate is considered one of the most critical indicators of how much the knowledge produced by universities contributes to academic literature, how it guides other research, and whether it generates scientific value.

KFAU's success in this field is considered a natural result of its research-focused institutional vision, strong academic staff, and systematic investment in scientific studies.
