KGTU participated in SAHARA International Agriculture Fair as AHDO Invitee

SAHARA Expo, which has been a key platform for agricultural development for more than thirty years and brings together professionals and investors with emerging markets and changing technologies, was held this year with the intense participation of government officials, private sector representatives, companies and academia.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülcihan Gülseren made a presentation on “Effective Water Resources Management Techniques” in the area titled Water, Irrigation and Digital Revolution. He also participated in the panel titled “Circular Agriculture-Waste, Energy, and Resource Management on the Farm”. During these talks, examples of the work carried out at our university on materials that increase resilience to water scarcity and the circular systems implemented by our university were presented.

In addition, Hatice Kübra Kara participated in the “Sahara Seminar Powered by AHDO” with her presentation titled “Innovative Materials in Sustainable Agriculture” under the main topic “Good Agriculture Practices and Sustainable Development”.
During the event, where information was exchanged in various fields of agriculture, comprehensive introductions were made for students, and important meetings and contacts were made for potential future collaborations that will increase the visibility of our university abroad.
