Visit from Konya University of Food and Agriculture to the University of Gezira in Sudan

A joint protocol covering cooperation in education, research, and agriculture was signed with the Sudan University of Gezira, one of Sudan’s leading universities.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, representing our university, and a delegation from the Rector’s Office representing the Sudan University of Gezira.

This agreement aims to foster joint projects in academic and scientific research between the two universities, facilitate mutual academic staff and student exchanges, and promote cooperation in the field of agricultural investments. The protocol is expected to make significant contributions to the existing cooperation between the two countries regarding the increase in agricultural production in Sudan and sustainable agricultural technologies.

Officials from Konya Food and Agriculture University stated that such international contacts contribute to the university’s research capacity and enable the development of joint solutions to agricultural problems on a global scale.
