University–Industry Cooperation Project İn Konya

A meeting attended by the directors and staff of the Career Centers of Konya universities was held at the Kapsül Technology Platform building located on the Zindankale campus, organized by the Konya Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology and hosted by the Kapsül Technology Platform. At the end of the meeting, the initiative named the Provincial Technology and Coordination Group exchanged ideas on how to enhance university–industry cooperation in Konya.

During the meeting, chaired by Vehbi Konarılı, the Konya Provincial Director of Industry and Technology, it was emphasized that both the provincial directorate and the Kapsül Technology Platform could act as intermediaries in bringing university students together with industrial companies. Vehbi Konarılı stated that at the beginning of next year they would be partners in a project that will enable academics working at Konya universities to provide consultancy services to industrial companies in Konya. He added that they would organize meetings to bring together industrialists and academics, where further details of these matters would be discussed.

Speaking on behalf of the Kapsül Technology Platform, Coordinator Reha Koçak explained that they provide support to all university students whose projects are accepted by the platform, including access to laboratories, computers, software, materials, and other services they request (such as technical visits). Prof. Dr. Baki Rıza Balcı, Director of the Career Center, attended the meeting on behalf of our university.
